Looking to get oriented to the forest? The forest guide map provides a general map of the Forest, roads and land ownership, as well as locations of our main recreation sites.

Motor Vehicle Use Maps
This map shows Forest Service roads (e.g., roads administered by Shawnee National Forest), road numbers, and road closure dates. Currently the paper map is out of print, so this map is only available online.

Paper Maps
A large fold out Shawnee National Forest map is available for purchase ($14) at our offices or online through the United States Geological Service Store.
