Buford/New Castle Project
The White River National Forest is evaluating potential vegetation management activities along the Buford/New Castle Road, which travels north from the town of New Castle to the town of Buford, Colorado. Vegetation management activities could include improvement harvests, clearcuts, patch clearcuts, precommercial thinning and other silvicultural activities. In addition, road maintenance and road widening could occur in conjunction with logging activities.
