Xcel Transmission Tower Vegetation Management Project
Vegetation/fuel profile management within 150 feet of all electric power transmission towers on the Forest in order to decrease probability of critical damage to electric line support structures due to wildfire. Treatment includes hand felling of live and dead timber to leave 30-40% canopy cover.
