Dinkle Lake Picnic Site

Dinkle Lake Day Use Area is at the base of Mount Sopris. It adjacent to popular hiking trails and near the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area. It an ideal spot for picnics and lake fishing.

Current Conditions
Because of anticipated dam repairs, Dinkle Lake on the Aspen-Sopris Ranger District will not be filled with water this year.

Directions

From Carbondale travel south on Hwy 133 for approximately 1.4 miles. Make a left turn on Prince Creek Road and go about 6 miles to the fork in the road. Take a right at the fork and follow it for 2 1/4 miles to Dinkle Lake.
