East Marvine Campground

The East Marvine Campground has 7 non-reservable campsites with picnic tables, toilet, fire grates, and trash disposal. The campground adjacent to East Marvine Trail #1822 and Marvine Trail #1823. Nearby fishing is available at East Marvine Creek, Marvine Creek, Marvine Lakes, Rainbow Lake & Guthrie Lake.

Three campsites with corrals are set aside for stock users only outside the main campground. 

There is no potable water available. Livestock may be watered in the stream, approximately 400 yards away.

General Information

  • Only certified weed-free forage and bedding is allowed in the campground.
  • The East Marvine and Marvine Trails lead into the Flat Tops Wilderness where regulations apply.

Single Site: $24 per night
Equestrian Site: $30 per night

Directions

The East Marvine Campground is located 35 miles east of Meeker, CO.

From Meeker, CO take Colorado Highway 13 east for 1 mile, then turn east on Rio Blanco County Road 8 and follow this for 28 miles. Turn south at Fritzlans' Guest Ranch, cross the bridge and turn east on Rio Blanco County Road 12. Follow this 6 miles to the Marvine Trailhead parking area. Domestic cattle may be grazing in the area.
