Willows Campground

Willows Campground is located north of Silverthorne, near the north end of Green Mountain Reservoir. The reservoir is located 15 miles north of Silverthorne along Hwy 9 and has views of the Williams Fork and Gore mountain ranges. In addition to boating, there are a variety of activities including camping, fishing, picnicking, jet skiing, water skiing, swimming and hiking. Fee stations are located at various locations around the reservoir. All motorboats must be launched from the Heeney Marina with a mandatory Aquatic Nuisance Specie boat inspection.

Boat inspections are required to prevent the spread of Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS).

Directions

From I-70 take Exit 205, Silverthorne/Dillon, and travel north on HWY 9 for about 20 miles. Near the north end of Green Mountain Reservoir turn left (west) onto Heeney Rd (Cty Rd 30) and the campground will be on your left along the reservoir. Note: Make sure you pass the reservoir and turn onto the 2nd entrance to the Heeney Rd.
