Three Creeks Trailhead
Overview
The Three Creeks Trailhead is a wonderful access point to numerous ATV, horse and foot trails. These trails loop together providing miles of recreational opportunities. Access is available via Highway 153, where there is a pullout on the right-hand side of the road. There you can off-load horses or ATVs and the pullout provides ample parking. If you cross the road to the north, you will be at the Piute 01 trail. This trail can be strenuous on ATVs, but it gives access to the PST 26, or the Piute 01 trail will take you to Big John's Flat. If you travel southwest to Three Creeks Reservoir, the road north of the reservoir (PST 05) leads toward Beaver. PST 88, over the dam, leads to LeBaron Lake and Betenson Flat. Continue on Piute 01 east of Three Creeks Reservoir and the trail will take you to PST 27 trail to Puffer Lake. Forest Road, FR-135 has been re-routed at the turnaround at FR-580. FR-135 now continues East on PST 27 for approximately 1 mile, turning off to the right and linking up with FR-580 just north of the old Girls Camp/CC Camp up through Buck Ridge. The road and trail are closed through the Cliffs, Brits Meadow, and the Girls Camp/CC Camp. In order to access these areas, you now have to park and walk in.
