Hilltop Campground

Hilltop Campground is a collection of 35 tent and trailer campsites high in the forest but with breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. This site is a favorite for feeling far from the city, though campers should be prepared for occasional high winds do to the hill top location.

Reservations are required for odd numbered sites. Even numbered sites are first-come, first-served. Please visit Recreation.gov for more information on reservations and fees.

General Information

The campground offers single and double campsites, all with picnic tables, campfire rings and grills. Some sites have stairs from the parking spur to the campsite.
Trailers longer than 25 ft are not recommended in Hilltop Campground. The campground road is narrow with tight turns.

May - November, as weather and conditions allow.

Dogs must be on a leash at campground.
No stock animal allowed in campground.

Double Site: $45 per night
Triple Site: $67 per night

From Las Vegas, Nevada: 1. Travel north on Highway 95 to the junction with Highway 157. 2. Turn left and travel approximately 17 miles to the junction with Highway 158. 3. Turn right and travel about 4 miles to campground.
