Markleeville Campground

Located near the town of Markleeville, California, the Markleeville Campground is situated near Markleeville Creek and the East Fork Carson River. This is a quaint, small campground offering 9 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis.

General Information

  • This campground has camping for tents and small RV (less than 24 ft in length). The campsites offer a picnic table, campfire ring, and food storage lockers. 

April - September, as weather and conditions allow

Open 24 hours/day

  • No RV's longer than 24 feet.                                  
  • Dogs must be on a leash at campground.  

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $18 per night

Per Day: $26 Single/$6 Extra Vehicle.

Directions

From Carson City or Minden, Nevada:

1. Take Highway 88 approximately 14 miles to the junction with Highway 4/89 at Woodfords, California.

2. Turn left on Highway 4/89, proceed for approximately six miles to the Markleeville Campground entrance on the north side of highway (approximately 1/2 mile past the small town of Markleeville).
