Sawmill Trailhead/Picnic Area

Sawmill Trailhead is a large trailhead and picnic area located just off Lee Canyon Road (NV-156). Because it is the lowest elevation developed site on the Lee Canyon side of the SMNRA, it is accessible year-round. This trailhead is popular with hiker, equestrians, and mountain bikers. 

General Information

  • Site has 8 single picnic sites, and 2 double picnic sites. Each site has tables and BBQ pedestal.

January - Decemer

Day-Use only.

  • Dog must be on a leash at day use areas.

No fees are required for this site

Directions

From Las Vegas, Nevada take US-95 north. Turn left onto NV-156 (Lee Canyon Road). Travel about 13 miles to trailhead on the right.
