Jarbidge River Trail

The Jarbidge River Trail is a 10.7 mile long non-motorized trail along the scenic Jarbidge River within the Jarbidge Wilderness near Jarbidge, Nevada. This trail starts at the Snowslide Gulch Trailhead at the end of the Jarbidge Canyon Road (58064). The trail follows the Jarbidge River upstream to it source area at Jarbidge Lake. Once near Jarbidge Lake, the trail turns east climbing up and over a ridgeline near Government Peak (10,180 feet) and then dropping down into a canyon to the trail end at the junction with the East Fork Jarbidge River Trail (18020).

This trail junctions with the West Marys River to Camp Draw Trail (18019) near Jarbidge Lake, and the Cougar Creek Trail (18006) and Emerald Basin Trail (18002) below and to the east of Government Peak.

Wilderness restrictions apply within the Jarbidge Wilderness, including motorized vehicles and equipment, bicycles/mountain bikes, and other wheeled/mechanized transport which are prohibited in Wilderness.
