Kavanaugh Ridge Trail

The Kavanaugh Ridge Trail is a 2.92 mile motorized out and back route in the Dunderberg Mill area southwest of Bridgeport, California. The trail starts from the Dunderberg Mill Road (Forest Road 32178) and travels west to Kavanaugh Ridge where the road ends at the boundary with the Hoover Wilderness.

General Information

This motorized trail is open to eBikes, motorcycles, and off-highway vehicles (OHVs) less than or equal to 50 inches in width. It is also open to all non-motorized users.

Please note that motorized vehicles and mechanical transport (e.g., mountain bikes) are prohibited within the Hoover Wilderness.
