White River Pass Canyon Trail

The White River Pass Canyon Trail is a 3.0 mile long non-motorized trail through the Currant Mountain Wilderness near Ely, Nevada. This trail travels west-east through the wilderness connecting the west and east sides of the wilderness boundary. On the west the trail starts at the end of White River Pass Road (Forest Road 59645). The trail then travels east through White River Pass Canyon in the Currant Mountain Wilderness, exiting the wilderness onto the Corduroy Road (Forest Road 59641).

Getting There

Trailhead/Starting Points

The west access point can be accessed on White River Pass Road (Forest Road 59645) via BLM roads off of State Route 379 in Railroad Valley. From the east, the trail can be accessed via a series of roads: U.S. Highway 6, County Road 10/Ellison-Hamilton Road (Forest Road 59402) to White River Road (Forest Road 59405), then Corduroy Road (Forest Road 59641).
