Trumbull Lake Campground

Trumbull Lake Campground is set in a thick lodgepole pine forest on the banks of scenic Trumbull Lake. Aspens and summer wildflowers dot the landscape. The lake offers canoeing and fishing for rainbow, brown, and brook trout. The Virginia Lakes area is very close, offering additional canoeing and fishing, as well as hiking and horse trail access into the adjacent Hoover Wilderness and Yosemite National Park.

General Information

This campground contains several single-family sites, a few double sites, and one triple site, all with picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and bear boxes. Vault toilets, potable water, and garbage/recycling services are provided.
A campground host is located on-site; firewood is available for purchase. Roads and parking spurs are dirt.
Opening and closing dates depend heavily upon weather conditions.

Early June - early October, as weather and conditions allow

A free California Camp Fire Permit issued by CalFire is required for campfire, barbecue, and portable stove use.

Dogs must be on a leash at campground.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $34 per night
Double Site: $50 per night
Triple Site: $65 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $6 per vehicle per night

Per Day: $34 Single/ $50 Double/$65 Triple/$6 Extra Vehicle.
