Ward Mountain Campground
Ward Mountain Recreation Area and Campground sits in the shadow of its namesake, just 10 miles southwest from the city of Ely, in eastern Nevada. It sits at an elevation of 7,400 feet. At this campground, recreation activities include mountain/road biking, backpack/day hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

General Information
- There are 33 campsites, including nine back-in and three pull-thru RV sites. These sites also have picnic tables, campfire rings, and BBQ pedestals.
- Other amenities: volleyball court, horse shoe pit, historic amphitheater, underground BBQ roasting facility. All group sites have a large shade canopy and concrete area.
End of May - mid-October, as weather and conditions allow

Single Site: $12 per night
$12 Single Site; Group A: $75 per day (up to 150 people); Group Sites B & C: $50 per day (up to 100 people)

From Ely, Nevada, take Highway 6 south towards Tonopah, 10 miles to Murray summit. Turn left just before the summit at the Forest Service sign for Ward Mountain Recreation Area and Campground.
