  • Stage 1 Fire Restrictions 2025 - Manti-La Sal National Forest

    The Manti-La Sal National Forest officials will reduce fire restrictions from Stage 2 to Stage 1 beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, under Forest Order #04-10-25-00-03. This action rescinds Forest Order #04-10-25-00-02 (Stage 2 Fire Restrictions).

  • Rescinding Order - Deer Creek Closure, Moab Ranger District

    The Deer Creek Fire Closure under Forest Order #04-10-25-04-04 is rescinded. The Deer Creek area previously impacted by fire is open as of 8/22/2025.

  • Lake Fork Canyon Road Closure

    The Lake Fork Canyon road closure begins from the NFS Boundary in Lake Fork Canyon and continuing to the road’s intersection with NFS Road # 50006 (Dairy Fork Road), including all dispersed campsites within 300 feet of the roadway.

  • La Sal Mountain Loop Road Construction

    La Sal Mountain Loop Road is a highway that threads though the La Sal Mountains near Moab, Utah. Construction is underway to improve travel along this corridor.
