Josephite Point Trail

The Josephite Point Trail #5109 is 6.3 miles long. It begins at Forest Road #50005 at Pete's Hole Reservoir and ends at Forest Road #50041 at Mary's Lake. This trail follows a bench for most of its length with minimal elevation change. Trail descends 53 feet from 8,894 feet in elevation to 8,841 feet. It passes through mixed conifer and aspen for most of its length and offers access to fishing at Academy Mill Reservoir. This route is a favorite of mountain bikers.

Directions

From Orangeville, head west onto UT-29 and travel approximately 25.3 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road #50005 (Thistle Flat/Petes Hole) and travel approximately 1.8 miles to Josephite Pt. Trail #5109.
