Warner Lake

Warner Lake is a small 1.7 acre lake located 5 miles off the La Sal Mountain Loop Rd on a gravel road. There is a day use area, a reservable cabin for up to 4 people, and 19 campground sites some of which are reservable on www.Recreation.gov. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing.  The Department of Wildlife Resources of Utah (DWR) stocks this reservoir with Rainbow Trout. A Utah fishing license is required per state regulations.

There is no fee for day use. The campground is $20/night for single sites, $50/night for the group site. The cabin at Warner Lake must be reserved in advance through www.recreation.gov and is $50/night for 4 people.

Directions

From Moab, head south on US-191 S/Main St and travel 7.8 miles. Turn left onto County Rd/Old Airport Rd and travel 0.6 miles. Turn right onto La Sal Mountain Loop Rd/Spanish Valley Dr. and travel for 14.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road #063 (Warner Lake) and travel 5.3 miles to the parking area. Walk 150 yards to Warner Lake.
