Cirque Basin Trail #506

The Cirque Basin Trail is 1.2 miles long. The trail leaves the Clayburn Creek Trail #505 near Lava Butte Lookout and intersects the Lava Ridge Trail #149 at Lave Butte Lakes. The trail is open to the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding, Motorcycle Trail Riding

Directions: Travel west from McCall on Hwy 55 and turn right at the Brundage Mountain/Goose Lake Road (257). Follow the road past the Brundage Mountain Ski Resort, Brundage Reservoir, Goose Lake and Hazard Campground, about 30 miles. Turn onto Forest Road 308 and continue to the Lava Lakes Trailhead, another 7 miles. Follow the Clayburn Creek Trail #505 to the east 1/2 mile to where the Cirque Basin Trail leaves to the north.
