June Lake Campground

June Lake Campground is located in the Eastern Sierra, near the town of June Lake. This campground has 28 campsites, each equipped with a bear locker. Campsites are located in a mixed Aspen and pine forest on the shoreline of  June Lake. Ease of access to June Lake fishing, marina, and boat rentals make this a favorite spot for both families and anglers. Gift shopping, groceries, and restaurants are within walking distance in the town of June Lake.

General Information

Traveling in Bear Country

Historically, there has been a high level of bear activity at June Lake Campground. A bear-proof locker is located at each site at June Lake Campground. All food and scented items must be stored in the lockers. All trash must be disposed of in the bear proof trash receptacles. Do not store food, trash or scented items in your vehicle.

Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Active bear area, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48"x 30"x 36"). 14 day stay limit.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $32 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night

Dogs must be leashed in all developed recreation sites.

Take US 395 to its southern junction with State Highway 158. Take 158 2.3 miles. Campground is on the right just past Fire Station. Campground is located in the town of June Lake.
