Nunatak Tioga Tarns Trailhead

This easy loop trail is located on Hwy 120 just east of Tioga Lake. It is approximately 1/2 mile in length and has posted signs informing the visitor of interesting natural history and geological features along the way. This trail is also wheelchair and stroller friendly.

Open depending on road conditions. Road is closed seasonally in the winter.

  • This area is day use only.
  • Camping is limited to campgrounds.
  • Hall Natural Research Area is day use only.

Dogs must be leashed in all developed recreation sites.

Leave Hwy 395 at Hwy 120. Follow Tioga Pass Road toward Yosemite. Parking is just East of Tioga Lake.
