Lake Hemet Day Use Area

Lake Hemet offers plenty of shore fishing to the angler. Campers can stay overnight at the adjacent campground operated by the Lake Hemet Municipal Water District. The Water District also has small boats available for day rental. This site is accessible and has picnic tables and vault toilets.

Fishing information: Rainbow trout may be planted by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Their fish planting schedule is available online.

Day use only.

 Adventure Pass Required $5/day or $30/year. Interagency Passes also accepted. For more information, please visit our recreation pass page. Adventure Passes are sold locally at the Lake Hemet Market or the Mountain Center Gas Station on Highway 74, check for availability.  Fee machine is available in parking loop #1; debit or credit only.
