The US Forest Service provides several types of publications and maps to the public. The material is available in many forms: brochures, maps, Recreational Opportunity Guides (ROGs), on such subjects as recreation, sightseeing, wilderness, travel management, and vegetation.

USGS National Map Store
Forest Visitor Maps for each national forest and grassland provide forest-wide information on attractions, facilities, services, and opportunities.
Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUM)
The Motor Vehicle Use Map displays National Forest System routes (roads and trails) or areas designated open to motorized travel. MVUM maps are also available for free at the local Ranger Station.
Forest Service Topo Maps
Forest Service Topo Maps are the Forest Service's series of large scale topographic maps.
Forest Service GeoData
Through the Geodata Clearinghouse, you can find datasets related to forests and grasslands, including maps you can download.
3 Forests Interpretive Association
Three Forests Interpretive Association [3FIA] is a non-profit educational organization that helps to inform and educate visitors to California’s Stanislaus, Sierra, and Sequoia National Forests. You can purchase Stanislaus, Sierra, and Sequoia National Forests Visitor Maps through our partner organization, 3FIA.

Sequoia National Forest Visitor Guide
Now available to view online and print at home! This is the forest's guide containing a variety of useful information for visitors to the forest. This guide is also available for free at all Sequoia National Forest offices and visitor centers.
