Ant Canyon Dispersed Camping

Just north of Goldledge Campground along the Upper Kern River. This is a dispersed camping site. No water is available. Portable toilets and trash bins available in the summer months.

General Information

  • Know Before You Go! It is your responsibility to plan accordingly and know the closures and restrictions for the area you plan to visit.

Campfire Permits required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Campfires and barbeques may be prohibited during fire restrictions, camp stoves allowed with current California Campfire Permit. Get your FREE Campfire Permit here!

Camping and campfires within 25 feet of the water's edge is prohibited due to the Wild and Scenic Designation. Glass containers prohibited.

 Depending on fire restrictions and fire danger, campfires may be prohibited for dispersed camping.

Free of charge.
