Horse Camp Campground

Located 13 miles SE of Grant Grove via Generals Highway to Big Meadow Road (Road 14S11). Five (5) units, horse corrals and vaulted toilet. Campsite elevation is 7,600 feet. This Campground is operated in cooperation with Sequoia National Forest and Back Country Horsemen of California - San Joaquin Sierra Unit.

There is NO WATER at Horse Camp. Bring your own water.

Reservations

First Come First Serve Site. Donations for maintenance of Horse Camp is accepted on-site.

General Information

Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Permits are available at your local Ranger Station or online at Campfire Permit - Ready for Wildfire.

Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

No fees are required for this site
