Upper Richbar Picnic Site

Located approximately 20 miles northeast of Bakersfield along State Highway 178 adjacent to the lower Kern River.  It has a paved road, picnic tables, toilets, and dumpsters. There is no potable water available. 

No camping; Day use between sunrise and sunset daily.

Day use hours are between sunrise and sunest. 

Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Permits are available at your local Ranger Station or online at preventwildfireca.org

Depending on fire restrictions and fire danger, campfires may be prohibited.

Day Use: $12/Vehicle/Day.

$12 per day.

6' leash required.
