This facility has 2 picnic units and offers access for hiking.  This is an historic site (historic and geological).  Access is unpaved and there is no water system.

Day use only; no overnight camping allowed

No fees are required for this site

In a developed recreation site dogs need to be on a 6ft or shorter leash.

Hayfork Ranger Station is a light brown building and this image shows snow on the roof and grounds with the sidewalks shoveled.

Directions

From Redding through Hayfork: Take State Route 299 W to State Route 3 S to Wildwood Road in Hayfork. Drive 6.2 miles to FS Rd 31N19.

From Red Bluff through Platina: Take State Route 36 W for 52 miles and then turn onto Wildwood Road. Drive 14 miles to FS Rd 31N19.
