Trinity River Campground

The Trinity River campground is located two miles north of the Coffee Creek area on State Route 3 and is adjacent to the Trinity River. It is approximately 36 miles from Weaverville. It is very popular with travelers as an overnight campground. This facility has a paved road and spurs, accommodating both trailers and tent campers. Each site has a concrete table and fireplace. Vault toilets are open and accessible.

General Information

Site is managed by the Shasta Recreation Company which was recently purchased by Vista. Site information is currently available https://shastatrinitycamping.com/campgrounds/trinity/. 

Opens the week prior to Memorial Day Weekend and closes October 31st. 

Open 24 hours/day

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $16 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $8 per vehicle per night

In a developed recreation site dogs need to be on a 6ft or shorter leash.

Weaverville Ranger Station is a green building with brick stairs into the front doors.
