The Over Snow Vehicle Use Map (OSVUM) is a map showing legal designations of where you can travel with over-snow vehicles (OSV) on the Tahoe National Forest. It provides wintertime recreation access that ensures OSV use occurs where there is adequate snow depth, promotes the safety of all recreation users, enhances public enjoyment, mitigates impacts to natural and cultural resources and minimizes conflicts between various winter recreation uses.
