Donner Summit Snowpark
The Donner Summit Pacific Crest Trailhead transforms into the Donner Summit Sno-Park in the winter! Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, and snow play are all accessible from the Sno-Park. There are no hills for sledding at this location. Backcountry skiing is popular on the north side of the freeway and snowmobiles must be unloaded on the north side of the freeway.

Land adjoining to the Sno-Park site is private property. No recreational use is allowed on the private property. Overnight parking is allowed for trail users only. Overnight parking is unoccupied vehicle parking. No camping/in-car camping as allowable per Forest Order 17-22-06.
Permits are required at all Sno-Park locations. Fees are $15/day OR $40/season per vehicle (November 1 - May 30). Sno-Park permits are available online at ca.gov.
