Horseshoe Trail #363

The trail begins as a narrow dirt road, narrowing to a shared use trail after about 3/4 of a mile. You may encounter motorized users. The trail climbs abruptly up and continues to be fairly steep. Water is not available and must be carried in. The trail runs through a brushy area that was burned in a wildfire.

Getting There

Directions

From Prairie City, OR., turn onto South Main Street. Follow South Main Street to the junction with Bridge Street. Turn left onto Bridge Street and continue past the cemetary, the road then becomes County Road 62. Follow County Road 62 to the junction with Forest Service Road 13. Follow Forest Service Road 13 approximately 12 miles to the trailhead.
