Asahel Curtis Picnic Area

Picnic along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River in a remnant stand of old-growth forest. Enjoy views of the river from picnic tables stationed along its banks. The gentle rush of flowing water will relax and rejuvenate you. The picnic area provides fire pits, vault toilets and water hand pumps with easy hiking to Annette Lake Trail 1019 and Asahel Curtis Nature Trail 1023.

Ten picnic sites, including four along the river. Facilities include picnic tables, fire pits, vault toilets and two water hand pumps.

This area is for day use.

General Information

Day use only; no overnight camping allowed

Recreation passes may be used as a form of fee payment.

$5 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual

Directions

From North Bend, WA travel east on I-90 for about 16.5 miles and take exit 47 toward Denny Creek/Asahel Curtis go .5 miles then take a left (north) on Asahel Curtis Road 55. Then turn right on Forest Road 9034 (which turns into Forest Road 9035) and follow for less than a mile to the picnic area along the river.
