PROHIBITIONS
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(a), the following acts are prohibited on National Forest System Lands in the reclamation vicinity of the dams at Cle Elum, Kachess and Keechelus Lakes on the Cle Elum Ranger District of the Okanogan- Wenatchee National Forest.
It is prohibited to go into or be upon any area which is closed for the protection of property.
For the purpose of this order, this restriction applies to all public entry within the reclamation zone of each dam on Cle Elum, Kachess and Keechelus Lakes as shown on the attached maps. (36 CFR 261.53 (f)).
This closure is effective June 25, 2004, and will remain in effect until further notice.

EXEMPTIONS
The following persons are exempt from this order:
- Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission.
- Any Federal, State or local officer or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of official duty.
- United States Bureau of Reclamation employees and their designated contractors are exempt under this order.
