Permits

Permits are varied in what they cover and when you need them. Whether you're hoping to collect mushrooms, host a recreation event, or float the Lower Rogue River during permit season, there are different kinds of permits you might need. Learn more here!

Forest Products Permits

Huckleberries

You might need a permit to harvest some forest products, including Christmas trees, mushrooms, berries, and firewood.

Special Use Permits

Special Use permits are varied, and include commercial and noncommercial permits. Commercial special use permits include those required for outfitters and guides, commercial filming and photography. Special use permits also include recreation residence permits.
