Spalding Pond Campground

This primitive camping area is near the historic mill site pond.  This pond is stocked with rainbow trout annually by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Fishing is best in the  spring to early summer.  There is an accessible trail and fishing platform.

  • No garbage disposal - Please pack it out

Check in: 2:00 p.m.; Check-out: 12:00 p.m.; Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

  • Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Campfires in developed fire pits only
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Dogs must be on leash
  • OHV/ATV use prohibited in the campground
  • Maximum length of stay: 14 days

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $10 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per night

Directions

From Grants Pass, OR, take Highway 199 (Redwood Highway) at Hayes Hill, turn onto Forest Road 25 go about 8 miles to Forest Road 2524. Turn left and go approximately 5-6 miles.
