Blue Springs Gap Cabin

Located high on a mountaintop near Camp, VA, Blue Springs Gap Cabin seems to be on top of the world. There are three cozy bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a wrap around porch with an amazing view. Electricity and flush toilet add comfort to this rustic mountain setting. Bird watching, hiking, and fishing are nearby, but there is no drinking water available; be sure to bring your own.

No smoking, no pets, no horses. 8 person, 8 vehicle max. When recreating on Forest Service Lands, follow the safety and outdoor ethics recommendations

Directions

From I-81: Take exit 45 at Marion, VA and go south on VA Route 16 for about 10 miles to VA 695 (Slemp Creek Road) at Sugar Grove, VA. Turn left onto VA 695 and after one mile turn left onto VA 614 (Cedar Springs Road) towards Cedar Springs. After about 4 miles turn right onto VA 612 (Camp Road) before Cedar Springs, VA. After about 5 miles turn right onto VA 798 (gravel road - Hale Lake Road). VA 798 is about 1 mile past the community of Camp. After about 3 miles you will reach the top of the mountain and a "T" intersection. Turn right onto VA 672 (Blue Springs Road). After 0.3 tenths of a mile, take the first gravel road to the right which will lead to the cabin gate
