Black Bear Campground

Black Bear is a small loop campground with 12 sites suitable for tents along Williwaw Creek. RVs are not recommended.

Located on site are vault toilets, a hand driven water pump, a dumpster, picnic tables, fire rings, and bear lockers. It is located on the south side of Portage Glacier Road.

Reservations

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site.

Late spring to early fall

Campgrounds are generally open mid-May to September 30th.

$19/night. No advance reservations. There is a pay station at the entrance to the campground.
