Swan Lake Cabin
A 12 x 14-foot rustic cabin set back from the eastern tip of Swan Lake. Surrounding the cabin is a spruce/birch forest and meadows with views of the lake and nearby mountains.
This cabin sleeps 6, has a table, wood stove, splitting maul, crosscut saw, outhouse, and rowboat with oars.
Not included: running water, electricity, mattresses or bedding, cooking utensils, or cut firewood.
General Information
This cabin is in the Resurrection Pass/West Resurrection Pass and alternates between motorized and non-motorized use annually, from December 1 through April 30, depending on snow conditions
Swan Lake Cabin is available for reservations year-round.
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round. Check-in/Check-out time is 12pm.
A permit is required to hunt and fish at Swan Lake Cabin. Review the Alaska Department of Fish & Game's hunting and fishing regulations.
Resurrection Pass Trial is closed to motorized vehicles from May 1- November 30. Resurrection Pass Trail is closed to pack/saddle stock from April 1 - June 30.
Per night prices range from $50-75 depending on the season. Cabin fees are based on non-peak/peak season/day. Seasons vary by cabin. A non-refundable service fee will be added to each reservation by Recreation.gov

Directions
Swan Lake Cabin is located on the Resurrection Pass Trail, 12.8 miles from the south trailhead. It can be accessed by hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, skiing, floatplane, or snowmobile (during open seasons).
It is also accessible by floatplane (a 15-minute flight from Cooper Landing or a 30-minute flight from Moose Pass). Refer to USGS map, Seward C8.
Travel Considerations
Winter travel is relatively safe, but trail may be difficult to follow during and after heavy snowfall, especially between Swan Lake and Resurrection Pass.
Visitors and hikers should be aware of avalanche conditions. Check the Chugach National Forest Avalanche Information Center website for the most current avalanche forecast.
