The Mole Harbor To Alexander trail is 2.42 miles long. This trail climbs 3/4 of the way from Mole Harbor through a spruce/hemlock forest with muskeg meadows and ends at Lake Alexander shelter. Directions

Located on the central eastern side of Admiralty Island. This trail is accessed from the east end of Alexander Lake or West end of Mole Harbor. Shelters are visible from either access point. Transportation to this trail is by float plane, boat, canoe/portage, kayak or skiff from Lake Alexander cabin. One-way flight time from Juneau is 40 minutes. Suggested USGS topo maps: Sitka C-1
