Ward Lake Nature Trailhead

The Ward Lake Nature Trail is 1.5 miles long. The trail is gravel surfaced, flat and easy to hike. The most popular trail in the Ketchikan area, this nature path skirts the shore of Ward Lake. The trail offers a variety of stops, traveling through Signal Creek campground and the Ward Lake Day Use area. It is wide enough in most places to accommodate two people walking side by side.

To access the trailhead parking area follow the North Tongass Highway to the Revilla Road junction. Turn right and follow to the intersection with Ward Lake Road; turn right again.
