Water Fun 1

Nature viewing is a constant across the Boise National Forest!  The scenery rarely disappoints as one travels from rivers to alpine lakes to mountain peaks and everything in between!  The many beautiful forested areas are alive with stands of ponderosa pine, grand fir, Douglas-fir, Englemann spruce, lodgepole pine and subalpine fir.  As for wildlife, the Forest provides habitat for close to 300 terrestrial species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians, as well as 28 species of fish.  So bring your binoculars and hiking shoes and enjoy all that Nature has to offer on the Boise National Forest!
