Lolo National Forest Land Management Plan Revision
Lolo National Forest Plan Revision 2023 from USDA Forest Service.
- We are starting the revision of the Lolo land management plan! This effort will take several years and include extensive public involvement. Please sign up for our mailing list on GovDelivery to be sure you are included in our announcements.
- You can find more information on our Meeting in a Box page.
- We are launching a series of engagements over the next few months related to the Assessment. Later this spring and summer, we will begin working with you on developing a draft revised plan. See Upcoming Engagements for information on how to participate!
- We plan on 5 types of engagements. All of these engagements are designed to gather real-time information for us to consider and also to help interested parties prepare to participate in comment periods.
- Webinars are online presentations of information to prepare you for workshops and comment periods. This format includes an opportunity for questions and answers but is not designed to gather input. Presentations will be recorded and posted in our webinars archive. We will also present the material prior to in-person workshops for those with limited internet accessibility.
- Workshops will be held in person with a virtual option to build shared knowledge and gather input on specific topics. Workshops will be interactive sessions that create a collaborative culture and foster information exchange.
- Ranger chats are informal face-to-face opportunities for dialogue hosted by the district rangers once a month at their offices.
- Revision team office hours will be offered monthly and are informal virtual opportunities for dialogue directly with the revision team.
- Field trips will be planned in conjunction with some workshops, where relevant, to place-based topics.
