Southwest Conservation Corps provides youth and young adults opportunities to complete conservation projects on public lands. While serving with SCC, members receive training on job skills, conflict resolution, leadership, teamwork and environmental stewardship. Members receive a weekly living allowance, training and an AmeriCorps Education Award (for qualifying individuals).

WCCC hires young adults and teens for the summer to do various project on public lands.

Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical program that helps young people ages 16-24 improve the quality of their lives through federal academic and technical training. Job Corps centers are found nationwide, in addition to several regional centers within the Pacific Northwest.

Young Adult Internships (ages 18+): 3-12 month positions in disciplines such as visitor services, trail work, natural resources, interpretation, archaeology, and other fields.
