Passes

There is no entrance fee for the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison (GMUG) National Forests. The Forest is open year-round for a variety of recreational activities and uses. However, some locations require a reservation, permit or day use fee. Campgrounds and day-use areas that are operated by the Forest's concessionaire from May to September may accept select America the Beautiful passes, which may provide discounted rates for camping.

Please visit the USGS Online Store for detailed information about how to purchase a pass online and whether purchasing a pass now is the right decision for you. Passes are available to order from the USGS Online Store (allow at least three weeks for order processing and delivery) or at some national forest or grassland offices.

Please remember when making your purchase that Interagency Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, cannot be extended and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Passholders must show valid photo identification (ID) with each pass.
