Timber Sales
The Lolo National Forest have an actively managed timber program with many new and regular sales. Below, you will find information about upcoming timber sales, what is available for bidding, and the location of the sale.
Through the Good Neighbor Authority (GNA), the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation partners with the USDA Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management to plan and implement forest restoration projects and address shared priorities.
The Lolo's Timber Sale Program Announcement represents the various tracts of timber planned to be offered for sale on the Lolo National Forest by the Forest Service through September 30, 2025. The planned sale program identifies more than 29 million board feet (MMBF) of timber volume representing a mix of species and products that will be available across the Forest.
