Beaver Dam #627

The Beaver Dam Trail #627 follows at a moderate grade along the Beaver Dam Drainage and is a route which ties together the Mesa Creek Road and the Long Canyon Trail. It travels through a mixture of spruce stands, oak brush and through many open parks. This drainage contains many beaver ponds with intermittent sections of flowing water. A great amount of beaver activity may be encountered especially along the lower 0.5 mile of trail. Additional wildlife may also be seen along this trail, however, no fish activity was observed along the section of water which this trail follows.
