Bonholder #467

Bonholder Trail #467 begins at FSR #592 on private land and ends at the Skyline Trail #465. The only way to access this trail, without permission from the landowner, is to follow the Skyline Trail for approximately 12.5 miles from the Tumble Creek Trailhead or approximately 8.5 miles from the Eddiesville Trailhead to the intersection with the Bonholder Trail. This trail follows Spring Creek for most of its length. Approximately 3 miles of the trail are in the La Garita Wilderness and Wilderness Regulations do apply.

Directions

Eddiesville Trailhead:

From Gunnison, travel east on Highway 50 to Colorado State Highway 114. Travel through Cochetopa Canyon on Hwy 114 to County Road 20. Turn right onto CR 20 to Dome Lakes and turn right just after the Upper Dome Reservoir onto FSR #794. Follow this road approximately 5 miles to the Eddiesville Trailhead.

Tumble Creek Trailhead:

From Lake City, travel south on Highway 149 for approximately 16 miles to the Gardner Ridge Road, FSR #729. Follow FSR #729 for approximately 2.5 miles to the Tumble Creek Trailhead.
