Eureka #734

The Eureka Trail #734 serves as a connecting route between the Green Mountain Trail #719 and the Park Cabin Road, FSR #125.1A off the Surface Creek Road, FSR #125. The trail travels through spruce/fir stands and large meadows and provides access to several reservoirs in the area and good trout fishing.

Directions

EASTERN ACCESS:

Turn east on Trickel Park Road, FSR #121, from the Highway 65 near the Grand Mesa Visitor Center and Cobbett Lake. Travel for approximately 7.8 miles to its intersection with Surface Creek Road, FSR #125. Turn right (south) onto the Surface Creek Road and travel 1.5 miles to its intersection with Park Cabin Road, FSR #125.1A. Turn right (west) onto the Park Cabin Road and travel 0.8 miles to the Eureka Trailhead.

WESTERN ACCESS:

Travel east on Trickel Park Road, FSR #121 for approximately 5.9 miles to its intersection with Hay Park Road, FSR #129. Turn right (south) onto the Hay Park Road and travel 1.9 miles to the Green Mountain Western Trailhead across from Ryan Reservoir. Travel southeast on the Green Mountain Trail from the western trailhead 0.9 miles to the Eureka Western Trailhead.
