Flats Tops Loop #546

The Flats Tops Loop Trail #546 begins at the Vega State Park Trailhead, a State Park Pass is required to park at the trailhead, and ends at its intersection with the Vega Snowmobile Trail #545. On the Sunlight to Powderhorn Trail Map the Flats Tops Trail is #37A. The combination of the Flats Tops Trail and the Vega Trail make a 21 mile loop. The trail climbs up to the Flat Tops area where the trail offers scenic views in all directions.  It then descends off the Flat Tops area down the Wilson Creek drainage and returns the rider to the South end of Vega Reservoir.
