Larson Lakes #236

The Larson Lakes Trail #236 begins at the Crystal Larson Trailhead and ends at the intersection with the Crystal Lake Trail #235.  Most of the trail is an old jeep trail that has been closed to motorized use.  From the Trailhead to Larson Lake, the trail can be moderate to difficult, but it becomes more difficult as it climbs to intersect with the Crystal Lake Trail #235.  The fishing in Larson Lake is usually good. The Uncompahgre Wilderness can be accessed by following the Crystal Lake Trail #235.  The Larson Lake Trail and the Crystal Lake Trail also make approximately a 14.5 miles loop that begins and ends at the Crystal Larson Trailhead.
